Rae Dean Moulton, 71, of La Grande, died Jan. 31, 2011, at Grande Ronde Hospital. A service will be held later at Douglas Cemetery in Troutdale. Loveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 1, 1939, to Charles and Laura (Manning) Kirk at Baker City. She was raised by her Aunt Laura “Nanny” Newton in Baker City.
She married Dale Ivan Moulton Feb. 1, 1957, in Baker City. They moved to Gresham where she raised three boys, Mike, Brent and Scott, and a daughter, Michelle.
Rae was a housewife and cooked for outdoor school. She was a foster parent to several boys.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Baptist church in Baker City.
Survivors are her children, Brent Moulton of La Grande, Scott Moulton of Gresham and Michelle Kuhnau of Fairview; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, and her son, Mike.
