Authorities have identified the cause of death of Adam Perkins, a musician and content producer for the now-defunct app Vine.
Adam died on April 11 from unintentional multiple drug poisoning, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner has confirmed.
A medical examiner wrote in an autopsy report dated July 7 indicated fentanyl, a potent opioid, flu alprazolam, a well-known tranquilizer, mitragynine, a psychotropic substance found in the kratom plant, ethanol, and cocaine were discovered in Adam’s body.
The medical examiner indicated in the report that his blood had “fatal doses of fentanyl.”
Adam rose to fame in 2015 after a seven-second Vine video of him entering a bathroom while wearing only his underpants and jokingly greeting the mirror with “Hi, welcome to Chili’s” went viral.
Before Vine went down in 2016, the video had amassed over 25 million spins there, according to Variety.
After graduating from New York University, Adam decided to pursue a career in music. He released his debut album, Latch Relay, under the alias Plas Teg in 2018.
On April 13, his twin brother Patrick made a statement about his passing. His cause of death was not made public at the time.

His caption was accompanied by a black-and-white picture of the two of them.
