Black Widow Jeanette Lee, who was given her nickname because of her reputation for “eating her opponents alive” at pool tables, recently delivered an update to her 180,000 Facebook followers while sitting in a New York hospital bed.
According to her, January 2022 has not been the best way to kick off the New Year. However, it won’t be nearly as bad as in early 2021. The 50-year-old mom of three daughters was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer last year. Due to the severity of the disease’s effects on her body, her loved ones worried that she had just months to live.
Jeanette Lee’s Childhood and Formative Years
On July 9, 1971, Jeanette Lee entered the world in Brooklyn, New York. Her family had immigrated to the United States from Korea. Even though she was born in the United States, her ancestry is Korean.
There is no record of who Lee’s parents are. Her mother is an RN, and her father had a smoke shop in the Big Apple. Information on her family background, including her parents and siblings, will be added shortly.
Jeanette had a troubled upbringing. As a Korean immigrant, adjusting to life in a mostly black neighborhood of Brooklyn was difficult. After a year at Bronx High School, Lee decided to leave and pursue other interests.
At the young age of 12, Jeanette was diagnosed with severe scoliosis, rendering her unable to complete her education.
