Jacky Oh, The Mother of DC Young Fly’s Children Died at 32!

Jacky Oh, who used to be on the TV show Wild ‘N Out and was D.C. Young Fly’s partner for a long time, has died. She turned 32.

In a message posted on the MTV show’s social media, a BET Media Group spokesperson revealed that Jacky Oh, whose real name is Jacklyn Smith, had died.

The mother of three died in Miami, according to TMZ, which was the first to report the news Thursday. No one knows what caused her death. The statement on Instagram read:

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed.

“Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”

The post went on to say:

“The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

D.C. Young Fly, whose real name is John Whitfield, has three children with Jacky Oh. TMZ said that the two met when the comedian, actor, and rapper became a regular cast member on the sketch comedy show in 2015 for its seventh season.
