On November 25, a number of TikTok videos titled “POV: You find out what happened to Lionel Messi’s wife” became popular due to reports that she was involved in a vehicle accident and will pass away in 2022. This is untrue, though, as Antonela Roccuzzo is still alive and well.
Fake news has managed to infiltrate social media and perplex individuals there. On November 25th, a comparable event took place.
After a false rumor took over the platform, a number of people became convinced that Messi’s wife had passed away.
Messi’s Wife, Antonella’s Car Accident Rumor Debunked
After people began seeing TikTok videos made from the POV (point of view) of people learning what happened to Messi’s wife, stories about the accident began to circulate.
There were numerous comments in the comment section that spread allegations that she was involved in a car accident.
People quickly became perplexed because many of them believed the allegations to be real. In fact, some people started tweeting the same thing.
Thankfully, Antonela did not actually get into a car accident and pass away. In 2022, she is still very much alive and well.
