When the You Make It Easy performer used Maren’s name, he was making fun of the name of a guest country singer at the performance.

Maren Morris and Brittany Aldean Feud Explored
This comes after Maren and Jason’s wife Brittany Aldean became embroiled in an online argument as a result of statements she made.

According to Billboard, Brittany came up with a statement on Instagram after the reaction and claimed that her remarks were exaggerated.
She said: As usual, throughout the past week, my remarks have been misinterpreted. I’ve chosen to make something positive of the way my remarks have been misconstrued rather than becoming upset about it.
