Regular viewers of the hit truTV series Impractical Jokers have seen the couple appear on the show multiple times since its inception in 2011. Joe, who started the comic group the Tenderloins with James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Sal Vulcano, frequently posted about his girlfriend Bessy on his many social media accounts.
Bessy and Joe tied the marriage in 2013; this was three years after Bessy had moved from California to New York to be with Joe. In 2015, they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter Milana Francis, and in 2017, they welcomed their boy, Remington James.

He announced his departure from the comedy troupe in an Instagram post, writing, “Sorry in advance for the long and more-serious-than-usual statement below, I just wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be affiliated with Impractical Jokers.
” I am so pleased with what we have accomplished as a team and as individuals over the past ten years that I am willing to devote the rest of my life to this franchise. However, I must withdraw at the present time because of problems in my private life. Since Bessy and I have mutually agreed to separate, I must give my full attention to being an excellent father and co-parent to our two wonderful children.
Joe said in the statement, “Outside of my family, my connections with Murr, Q and Sal have been the most significant to me.” I have no doubt that they will keep everyone in stitches. Of course, you just see the four of us, but there is a very brilliant crew working behind the scenes to make this event happen. My sincere gratitude goes out to each and every one of them for the opportunity to work with them.
Joe thanked his supporters and said, “They say that laughter is the best medicine, and I hope I’ve been able to deliver some of it over the previous decade. In these unusual and trying times, my own medication has been to see you smile and laugh.
