Fans are fawning over Ben Barnes, a 41-year-old British actor who plays General Kirigin/The Darkling in the upcoming second season of Shadow and Bones.

Barnes and British actress Felicity Jones were spotted together at the Britannia Awards in 2014, where they were posing for a picture, leading to reports that Barnes was dating Felicity Jones. The alleged couple was then spotted at a Los Angeles airport, which attracted media and public attention.
Barnes, who was due to be on the same flight as Jones, offered to stay with Jones until their limo came, according to the Daily Mail. At the time, no party verified nor refuted the prevailing rumours. The reports stopped soon after because the couple was never spotted together.

The Shadow and Bones actor visited Seyfried in 2015 while she was filming Ted 2. He later posted a photo of himself on Twitter with the movie’s teddy bear with the comment, “My friend,” referring to the actress. Thereafter, not much was said about the couple.
Meganne Young
The actress from South Africa renowned for playing Rachel in the 2018 film The Kissing Booth, Meganne Young, was also rumoured to be dating the Chronicles of Narnia star. The 31-year-old actress shared a photo of herself and Barnes on Instagram in April 2017 in which she was giving the actor a behind-the-back embrace.
Barnes could be seen sitting with Young’s hands around his neck while he was dressed in a black vest and sunglasses. The fact that they both appeared to be grinning in the picture led to a lot of questions about the nature of their relationship.

The two were reportedly seen eating ice cream at Salt & Straw in Los Angeles before smiling and walking towards the parking lot according to E! Online.
On their ice cream date, the couple appeared to be “extremely friendly” and “quite flirtatious,” according to one onlooker. Hough and Barnes’ relationship was discussed in a few publications. According to Life & Style:
“He has been flying to and from L.A. to be with her in New York for the past two months, and they have been officially dating. Every day they Skype when they are apart. They make such a cute couple. With him, Julianne can be her authentic self and everything in the relationship is so simple. Never has she been happy.
On August 18 of the same year, Barnes was spotted leaving Julianne’s apartment, which piqued the interest of the admirers. Although the romance seemed intriguing, neither Barnes nor Hough addressed the rumours.
