Despicable Me Movies in Order

The following release order is the ideal method to see the Despicable Me movies:

1. Despicable Me (2010)

A dark home with dead grass stands out in a quiet suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences and lovely rose bushes. The neighbors had no idea that beneath their house’s foundation is a vast secret hideaway.

We find Gru, who is organizing the largest bank robbery in human history, despite being besieged by a small army of minions. He wants to take the moon away from us.

Gru has enormous enjoyment in anything negative. Using his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and combat-ready land and air vehicles, he vanquishes everyone who gets in his way.

Until the day he encounters the unflinching resolve of three little orphan girls, who see in him what no one else has ever seen: a potential father figure. The world’s greatest evil has just met his largest foe yet with three young girls named Margo, Edith, and Agnes at his disposal.

2. Despicable Me 2 (2013)

Gru, the evilest man in the world who has become a super-dad, has been hired by a squad of law enforcement officers to stop lethal muscle and an army of Gru’s minions. Gru must respond with new technology, vehicles, and even greater degrees of minion insanity.

As Gru, the former supervillain adjusts to family life and makes an honest living in the jam business, it is revealed that a secret Arctic laboratory has been stolen. The Anti-Villain League decides that it needs an insider’s help, so it asks Gru to help them with their investigation.

Gru and the eccentric AVL agent Lucy Wilde arrive at the conclusion that El Macho, a supervillain who is believed to have died, is his main suspect because his teenage son is making attempts toward Margo, his oldest daughter. This is the conclusion that Gru and Lucy Wilde reach together.

Gru appears to be utterly out of control due to his excessive concern for his children and their growing affection for Lucy, even while a big number of his minions are being abducted for an unidentified purpose.

3. Minions (2015)

The film opens with a narration about the minions, who are said to have been around for a while and are searching for the evilest being to serve. The reason for the frequent turnover of masters is that they regularly bring about the death of their masters.

They become stranded in an ice cavern, where they manage to survive and flourish together as a tribe. But as time goes on, they start to lose their enthusiasm for life because they don’t have a master. A subordinate named Kevin makes the decision to leave the country in order to find his boss.

He is given Stuart and Bob as his traveling companions. They find a hidden villain TV station as soon as they get to New York, where they spend some time watching a program about the Villain Con in Orlando. The Nelsons, who later show out to be villains as well, give the minions a ride to Villain Con.

The most notorious villain in the world at the time, Scarlet Overkill, is waiting for them there and turns out to be hunting for henchmen. By chance, Bob ends up winning the race to become Scarlet’s henchman.

Kevin is pursued by Scarlet and her goons to Scarlet’s castle, where he invites his fellow goons to join him. She gives the task of robbing the reigning queen, Queen Elizabeth of Britain, of her royal crown to the minions.

With the aid of Scarlet’s husband Herb’s devices, the minions are successful in taking the crown, but they are caught and forced to flee, where they remain until Bob unintentionally unleashes the sword in the stone from the Excalibur tales. Bob has now been anointed king as a result.

Scarlet, who is incensed by this, visits her minion buddies. Scarlet is overjoyed to be given the throne and the crown. On the other hand, Scarlet sentences them to a torture room. The torture apparatus has little effect on the minions, and they slip back into Scarlet’s coronation ceremony to show their appreciation.

But once more, they fall short of expectations and instead hit Scarlet with an old chandelier. The remaining villains from Villain Con are sent by Scarlet to find the minions. Bob and Stuart have been captured.

Kevin escapes capture and discovers Herb’s secret tool, which turns him into a large minion. While he is fighting Scarlet, Stuart and Bob are saved, and the rest of the minions show up. Scarlet’s rocket gets swallowed by Kevin, but he stops her from escaping, blowing her up and shrinking back to his original size. The Queen awards Bob, Stuart, and Kevin.

Scarlet, who is still alive, tries to reclaim the crown, but young Gru stops him and takes control of the minions in exchange for the crown.

4. Despicable Me 3 (2017)

Gru and his companions find the long-lost twin brother Dru, who wants to team up with Gru for one more heinous theft and are cheerful, joyful, and more successful.

Gru experiences a severe identity crisis after being fired by the Anti-Villain League (A.V.L.) for failing to stop the latest villain to put humanity at risk.

One former supervillain will then discover just how fulfilling it is to be evil once more when a mysterious visitor shows up and tells Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother who is desperately trying to follow in his sibling’s wicked footsteps.

A child star from the 1980s named Balthazar Bratt ascends to power and aspires to conquer the entire planet. Gru and Lucy Wilde try their hardest to stop him from stealing the biggest diamond in the world, but they are unsuccessful.

Valerie Da Vinci dismisses Gru and Lucy from the Anti-Villain League, leaving them jobless. Gru learns that he has a twin sibling when Agnes is trying to sell things to raise money.

When he arrives at Dru’s location, he learns that Dru is a more powerful and prosperous supervillain than he had previously believed. Dru is happy with the outcome after Gru complies with his request to work with him on one more theft.

Since the Minions have gotten themselves into trouble, Lucy is unaware of their plan to steal the largest diamond in the world from Bratt.
