At an auction, a bottle of 50 Cent’s champagne, Le Chemin du Roi, fetched $325,000. The 2023 Rodeo Uncorked! The international wine competition in Houston saw an excellent performance from 50 Cent and his Le Chemin du Roi champagne on Sunday, February 26.
According to a Chron article, a bottle of Fif’s prize-winning French vintage Le Chemin du Roi Brut AOC earned six figures in addition to being named Grand Champion Best of Show.
The one bottle of Le Chemin du Roi that won Grand Champion Best of Show in the aforementioned international wine competition was auctioned off at a record-breaking $325,000 in a winning bid by real estate company J. Alan Kent Development.
In addition to his well-known champagne brand winning prizes against more than 3,000 other entries and earning money, 50 Cent also dropped some serious cheese at the prestigious wine auction.
The Antiquity Chardonnay Reserve from Bernhardt Winery, which was made in Danube Plain, Bulgaria in 2020 and named 2023 Reserve Grand Champion at this year’s Rodeo Uncorked!, cost the current Houston resident, who is originally from Queens, New York, $165,000 for a bottle.
Fif did a little flexing on social media on Monday to showcase the fact that Le Chemin du Roi achieved Grand Champion status and set the record for the event’s highest bet on a single bottle (Feb. 27).
You don’t think you understand money until you attend the Houston Rodeo, 50 Cent posted on Instagram. “For $165,000, I purchased the lot 2 Reserve champion. To play over here, you’ll need a proper bag.”
