Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck revealed fresh tattoos on Valentine’s Day, along with the phrase “Commitment is sexy,” which Lopez posted on Instagram. Both Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck recently got tattoos.
Lopez, 53, announced on Tuesday that she and Affleck, 50, got matching tattoos to celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife.
Lopez posted a series of photographs on Instagram showcasing her new tattoo, which looks to be the names “Jennifer” and “Ben” written in cursive inside an infinity symbol. The emblem, which rests atop Lopez’s heart, also features an arrow running through its center.
Lopez likewise shared a photo of Affleck’s new tattoo. Actor Ryan Reynolds has a tattoo of a pair of crossed arrows. Above the pair of slanted arrows, the letter “J” can be made out, while the letter “B” can be made out below.
Lopez also included several humorous images of the two of them together, including one in which she and Affleck look to reenact a moment from her “Jenny from the Block” music video from 2002. Affleck may be seen smiling beside his famous wife’s rear end in the photo.
Lopez captioned the photographs, “Commitment Happy Valentine’s Day my love,” suggesting that she will be providing further details in an upcoming issue of her On the J Lo newsletter.
She ended it with the hashtags, “#CommitmentIsSexy #ThisIsUsThen #ThisIsUsNow #ThisIsMeNow.” After keeping their engagement secret for months, Lopez and Affleck finally tied the knot at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas at 12:01 am on July 16.

Lopez admitted a month ago that she and Affleck considered taking a different path in their relationship.
“We were planning to be married in August in Savannah, the family was going to be there, everyone was going to be there and it was really stressful,” Lopez stated on Jimmy Kimmel Live! while promoting her new movie Shotgun Wedding.
She joked about her initial engagement to the actor in 2002: “A month before, and I don’t know whether you guys know this, but 20 years ago we were supposed to get married.”
Kimmel remarked, “I heard that I read that,” regarding the couple’s breakup in the days leading up to their September 2003 wedding. “I definitely had a little PTSD and so this time, I was like, ‘Is this happening?'” Lopez recalled.
We were overjoyed, of course, but planning the wedding was a major source of anxiety for me, to the point where Ben finally said, “F—- it, let’s just fly to Vegas and be married tonight.”
Lopez continued, saying, “I was simply like, ‘This is ridiculous, what are we doing,’ ” before revealing that Affleck took care of everything and promised her that he was “going to have everything set up.”
Lopez found Kimmel’s comment amusing: “So then you embark on a Spirit Airlines trip.” The Oscar winner’s July wedding to Lopez was “the finest day of our life,” she said.
