Hilton has previously expressed her wish to have a family with Reum, 41. The inventor of the Love Rush fragrance revealed that she and Reum started the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure at the height of the COVID-19 outbreak in a December interview with PEOPLE on the couple’s desire to have a child after they wed late last year.
We just started going and doing it a few months in, she told PEOPLE, “because the world was shut down.” “We were aware of our desire to have children, and I thought, “This is the ideal time.” We have plenty of eggs waiting since, on average, I fly 250 days a year.

Reum, a native of Chicago and a longtime friend of the Hiltons, is an author, business owner, and the founder of the venture capital firm M13.

Paris hinted that she and her husband Carter Reum will be expecting children in 2023 exclusively on the Dec. 8 edition of E! News after just celebrating their one wedding anniversary on Nov. 11. (airing tonight at 11:30 p.m.).
She said to Keltie Knight, Chief Correspondent for E! News, at The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Women in Entertainment Gala presented by Lifetime, “We simply wanted to really enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple, and we were always planned on 2023.”
“And the eggs are now being prepared, you know. Everybody is prepared, eager, and waiting for them.” Paris said it’s been her desire to have children “since I was a small kid” and that she already knows she’ll be “the finest mom.”
The 41-year-old went on to say, “I always liked kids, but I simply never met the person I could trust to do it with. “But now that I’ve done it, I simply can’t wait. He’s going to be the best father, and we’re going to have the most wonderful life together,” she continued.
As Kathy Hilton revealed that Paris and Carter were attempting to conceive children on the Nov. 14 edition of E! News, something she claimed Keltie was “so terrible” of her to do, Paris isn’t the only one who is delighted about the prospect of becoming a mother.
