Fortunately, changing or resetting your Instagram password is a simple process.

On your profile page, tap the menu button in the upper right corner and choose “Settings.” Select “Security.” Choosing “password.” You will be prompted to enter both your old and new passwords.

Visit the Instagram app’s login page. On an Android device, select “Get help logging in.” Tap “Forgot password” if you’re using an iPhone.
To assist you with changing your password, you can provide your username, email, or phone number.
Your connected email will get a link from Instagram with reset instructions.
If you forget your password for the Instagram app on Android, you can sign in using a Facebook account.
To change your password, you must have access to the recovery email, phone number, or Facebook account that is connected to your Instagram account.
The Instagram Help Center page states, “Unfortunately if you can’t access the email account you registered with and didn’t link your Instagram and Facebook accounts, we’re unable to provide you access to the account.”
How to Modify Your Instagram Password on A Smartphone Application
For Both, iOS and Android, the Procedure for Changing Your Password via The Mobile App Is Essentially the Same.
1. Open the Instagram App.
2. To Access Your Profile Page, Tap the Account Symbol in The Lower-Right Corner.
3. Select Settings by Tapping the Three Horizontal Lines Symbol in The Top-Right Corner of The Screen.
4. Select Security.
5. Tap Password on The Security Page.
6. Type Your Existing Password First, Then the One You Want to Replace It With. when finished, Click the Checkmark or Press Save (if You’re Using I Os) (on Android).
