How to Disable the Pop-Up Blocker on Android, Pc, and iPad for Chrome?

Although it’s frustrating to have advertisements interrupt us, we all too often encounter them on our phones. The majority of people are aware that they can disable advertisements on their desktop or laptop computers, but our phones frequently have them. The days of being able to download Ad Block Plus from the Play Store are long gone, as Google no longer permits system-wide ad filters.

So how can one go about ad blocking? Fortunately, it’s quite simple, and our tutorial covers all the details.

Let me first address a few points. Ads support the operation of websites, like this one, and are crucial for content producers. Keep that in mind. Thus, in some situations, it’s worthwhile to enable advertisements even though they can be annoying in order to support the content you enjoy.

Furthermore, bear in mind that since our focus will be on browser-based ad blocking, these solutions will not be able to block adverts in other programs, such as games.

Alright, enough about that, let’s start the guide.

How to disable the pop-up blocker on Chrome on your devices

Pop-up blocking is supported by default in the Chrome web browser. Unless you disable the block or have malware on your system, new tabs or windows cannot launch automatically. A notification with an allow prompt appears beneath the address bar when your mobile browser stops a pop-up.

On PCs, the right side of the address bar has a symbol with a red X. To enable pop-ups, there’s a small padlock located on the left side of the address bar. It is available as a PC and mobile app. You can only grant permission for the webpage you are currently reading by using these icons and the notification. Use the Chrome settings menu to fully deactivate the pop-up blocker. You may choose which apps to allow to display pop-ups and which to disable.

But only Android users are covered by this. Users of iPhones and iPads are required to go to a website and consent to reroutes from the prohibited pop-up notification. There are iOS versions where this mechanism isn’t functional, thus you cannot see the notification.

Use the following instructions to modify the pop-up blocker settings on Chrome applications.
