Instagram is the ideal platform for sharing images and videos, but it also gives users the option to boost their visibility by allowing them to include links to other websites in their bios.
On Monday, October 17th, a number of Instagram users tweeted about the broken links in their biographies.
Some of them were observed whining just a day earlier about having their accounts suspended despite not transgressing the Community Guidelines.
It seems that things are different with Instagram profile links.
Instagram Bio Links Not Working for Some Users
Your Instagram bio links give other users access to both personal and business websites.
As of right now, some users don’t appear to be able to use the feature because they can’t add URLs to their accounts. And for a select few, the previously existing links are no longer accessible at all.
In most cases, the app warns its users if it forbids them from including a certain link in their profiles because it violates the Community Guidelines.
I can’t add links in my bio, a user tweeted. Please assist me immediately, Instagram.
It’s just a bug that affects all of Instagram today. According to another, it’s happening to a variety of links.
Third user: “I can’t add links to my account on Instagram. I’m going to cry, bro.
Instagram pulled my link from my bio and won’t allow me to add it back, according to one tweet. We’re sorry, but something went extremely wrong, which is incredibly frustrating, it says.
“@instagram links aren’t working in our bios – pls fix??” was written with the hashtag one.
