Viral Tik Tok Video Captures Two Korean Americans as Victims of Racial Remarks
Chief Denton Carlson of the San Ramon Police Department contacted Arine via Twitter to inquire about the incident shortly after her video went viral.
Arine, who is from Moraga, California, can be seen introducing Elliot to In-N-light Out’s well fry before a customer inquires about whether or not they are recording their meals.
Jordan described the friends as “strange gays,” leaving them dumbfounded and perplexed.
Later, the consumer queries, “Are you Japanese or Korean?”
The customer inquires about Ha’s relationship with Kim Jong-Un when Ha reveals that he is Korean.
Kim implores the suspect to stop talking while Ha speaks to him and chuckles.
Krah says, “Normally, I could spit in your face, that’s some Filipino s***.
“See you outside in a minute,” he says.
Kim reports that even though it was not on camera, the customer kept staring out the window at the group.
According to NBC Bay Area, the pair waited until the fast food restaurant chain closed before having staff lead them out to assure their safety. By that time, Krah reportedly left.
