Is there a method for you to get rid of the 3D bitmoji that Snapchat’s most recent update resulted in many users having?
Since they were initially added to Snapchat, Bitmoji has become a staple of the app. People enjoyed dressing up their avatars and personalizing them in order to make them more like themselves.
However, the most recent upgrade has angered many people because their bitmoji looks to have changed.
Snapchat’s 3D Bitmoji Update Upsets Users
The bitmoji on Snapchat automatically upgraded to a 3D version as of the company’s most recent update on December 1. Three-dimensional bitmojis was first released a few years ago. However, they have never been incorporated into individuals’ Snapchat accounts automatically.
Users have voiced their dissatisfaction with the alterations made in the most recent version. One user commented, “You’re all terrifying, all the Snapchat bitmoji got 3D overnight.”
I don’t know who thought 3D bitmojis on Snapchat were a good idea, but I hope they were fired, another person wrote. Another person said, “These new 3D bitmoji icons are terrible.”

Is there a way to remove them?
The 3D Bitmoji can only be deleted by unblinking it. If you want to do it, take the following actions:
- Open Snapchat on your phone
- Click on the Snapchat Bitmoji that appears on top of the screen
- Click on settings on the right-hand side
- Select the Bitmoji option
- Tap on “unlink my Bitmoji”
- Select Unlink in the message that appears
Remember that doing so will also turn off all Bitmoji stories.
Additionally, if you made a Bitmoji with Snapchat, it will be automatically removed.
There is a petition to remove Bitmoji
There is even a petition to get the 3D version deleted because of how strongly people despise it. There are currently 158 signatures on the petition; 200 are needed.
