After Patrick’s arrest, fellow rapper Jmali revealed to The Daily Beast that Patrick went under the moniker “DJ Pat” throughout Houston.
Since the shooting day, his social media activities have been relatively consistent. He has more than 5,000 followers on Twitter, where he goes by the name @DJPAT713.

Chief Troy commented on the incident, saying: “Takeoff was unquestionably in the wrong place at the wrong time. There is absolutely no support for a different statement.
DJ Pat Charged with Takeoff’s Death
A formal statement from HPD regarding the arrests in relation with Takeoff‘s shooting was released on December 2nd. In the press conference, Chief Finner stated that Xavier was “charged with the murder of Takeoff.”

“While it won’t bring Takeoff back, it will provide some comfort for the family. This is an important step in the pursuit of justice, and I hope it also gives all of the Takeoff fans more comfort.
“I want to say how sorry and disappointed I am that another young man took the life of another young man without cause in this circumstance.

Takeoff passed away suddenly last month at the age of 28.
The rapper, according to TMZ, attended Jas Prince’s birthday party the night of the shooting, and the rapper and his uncle, Quavo, even shared photos and videos of themselves just hours before the tragic incident.
Two weeks ago, the funeral service for the Migos member was placed at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. Fans and other participants were prohibited from bringing phones or cameras to the rapper’s burial because it was a private gathering.
