Kelli Marie Giddish is an American stage, cinema, and television actress. She portrayed NYPD Detective Amanda Rollins on the NBC crime-drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 to 2022.
Previously, Giddish portrayed Di Henry on the ABC serial opera All My Children (2005–2007), Dr. Kate McGinn on the Fox crime-drama series Past Life (2010), and Annie Nolan Frost on the NBC crime-drama series Chase (2010–2011).
Early Years and Childhood
Kelli Giddish was born in Georgia’s Cumming. Eli Giddish is her sibling. She is the daughter of Charles and Nita Giddish. Her paternal grandfather encouraged her acting ambitions by taking her to the Atlanta Fox Theatre. Her maternal grandmother was also extremely encouraging of her pursuits.
In Georgia, she attended Forsyth Central High School and was heavily involved with Yatesy Harvey, a local drama teacher and mother’s friend who operated a community theater. Throughout her adolescence, Giddish performed in Yatesy Harvey’s plays and attended her sleepover drama camps.
Giddish was quoted as saying of Harvey, “She just inspired a fierce curiosity and very high standards of what acting was and how much dedication it took and rehearsal, and we would do plays every night.
“In her youth, Giddish garnered a number of accolades. She was a member of Forsyth Central’s championship softball team and the State Literary Champion for Girls Dramatic Interpretation in 1998. Later, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in theater performance from the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Giddish’s family was very supportive of her acting, with her parents traveling to Indiana for each of her college performances. She moved to New York City after college to pursue an acting career. Within a year of her arrival, she appeared alongside Farrah Fawcett in a Broadway play.

Kelli Giddish has not disclosed her pregnancy to the general public. She has not posted any social media photos or videos that indicate she is expectant.
The rumors that she is expectant stem from the fact that she will have a recurring role on “Law & Order: SVU” and her character will be pregnant. It is conceivable, however, that she is not pregnant and that the pregnancy plot is merely a device for the show.

Personal Life of Kelli Giddish
Giddish wed Lawrence Faulborn in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, on June 20, 2015. In October 2015, she gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son named Ludo. In November 2018, Giddish gave birth to the couple’s second child, a son named Charlie.
Both of her pregnancies were incorporated into the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit television series. In 2018, Giddish and Faulborn divorced. Giddish wed Beau Richards on November 7th, 2021.

Professional Life of Kelli Giddish
In 2005, she began her acting career by portraying Diana Henry in the serial opera “All My Children.” She subsequently appeared in a number of additional television programs and films, including “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “The Burg,” “Without a Trace,” “Past Life,” and “Chase.” Since joining the ensemble of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2011 as Detective Amanda Rollins, she has been a series regular.
