After marrying Reggie, Sara became an actress and appeared in movies like Reggie’s Prayer (1996) and The Game (2006), along with ESPN SportsCentury (1999).

She also helped produce a two-hour documentary called Minister of Defense: The Reggie White Story, which portrayed Reggie’s life through faith, family, and football. Reggie and Sara had two children, a son named Jeremy and a daughter named Jecolia.

A year before Reggie passed away, Sara White was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a condition affecting the central nervous system. It can cause problems with muscle coordination, strength, and sensation.

After Reggie’s death, Sara focused on her work. She got involved in real estate, a career she had always wanted to pursue.

Reggie White started playing professional football with the Memphis Showboats in 1984 in the USFL. Unfortunately, the league closed in 1985.

After almost two years in the USFL, White joined the Philadelphia Eagles. He played with them for eight years before moving to the Green Bay Packers.

White played with the Packers for six years and helped them win the Super Bowl in 1997. In 2000, he joined the Carolina Panthers for a year before retiring from football.

In his 15-year NFL career, White achieved 312 tackles, 198 sacks, 29 pass breakups, 14 forced fumbles, 12 fumbles recovered, and three interceptions. 

He received the Defensive Player of the Year award twice and was selected for the Pro Bowl 13 times. Reggie White was honored with induction into the Hall of Fame in 2006.
