Matthew, a rapper, and producer from Philadelphia, also releases LOVER MAN CAN. MadeinTYO shares NEO TYO. Eric Bellinger’s new album, 1(800) HIT-EAZY: LINE 2, comes out with songs by Blxst, Muni Long, and a few other artists. And Neek Bucks’ first album, BLESSED TO THE MAX, is released.
Jay Critch also comes out with Jugg Season.
Nappy Nina – Mourning Due
Nappy Nina, a rapper from Brooklyn, has a song called “Mourning Due” that makes you think. In 14 songs, she paints vivid pictures of a wide range of things. Nina’s background in spoken word is all over this project. Also, the features on this album were carefully chosen so that they go well with Nina.
Standout Tracks: “Smug Ft. Maasai,” “Prayer Posture” with JusMoni, and “Tucked In” with MAVI.
Matthew – LOVER MAN CAN
Matthew, an underground rapper, and producer, made the whole Grilchy Party project. It has some soul music, but rap is the main focus. The release as a whole is complete and has a raw sound that makes it worth highlighting this week.
Standout Tracks: “Freak Bul,” “Day 8 of my hangover”

Eric Bellinger – 1(800) HIT-EAZY: LINE 2
Eric Bellinger is a singer who doesn’t always get enough credit for how he keeps modern R&B fresh. His new album, which was made by Hitmaka, has a lot of R&B sounds that are emotional and catchy.
Standout Tracks: “Decide,” “Patterns”
MadeinTYO – NEO TYO
MadeinTYO does his best work when he mixes trap rap with other kinds of beats. The music of NEO TYO sounds like a SoundCloud rap from the 2000s, and it works. He comes and goes from the production in a way that doesn’t feel too much. “Stunt” is a fun listen.
“So Many” and “Jazzy” stand out.

The sound of BLESSED TO THE MAX, the first album by Neek Bucks, is rough and loud. The project, which was made by Hitmaka, is a great start for the new rapper.
“DESERVE IT ALL [INTRO]” and “MASK UP ft. 2 Chainz” are two tracks that stand out.
Jay Critch – Jugg Season
Jay Critch is another artist in the Brooklyn drill rap scene who is giving it new life. On his new album, he has songs where he talks about how he feels about making money quickly, what he likes, and how hard he has to work to keep all of his recent success.
Standout Tracks: “That Was Random,” “Cargos” and “Still Wavy Ft. Max B”
